Rain-thunderstorm Likely At Isolated Places In Sindh, FATA, KPK,

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jan, 2017 ) : Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over hills is expected at a number of places in Balochistan and at isolated places in Sindh, FATA and Malakand division during next 24 hours while fog likely to continue over plain areas of Punjab during night and morning hours.
However, mainly very cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country, an official of Met office told APP. An active westerly wave is likely to enter in the country through Balochistan from Friday and grip the southern/central and upper parts of the country from weekend.
In last 24 hours weather remained very cold and dry in most parts of the country.
Foggy conditions prevailed over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during night and morning hours. Minimum temperatures recorded on Thursday remained Kalam - 15�C, Astore -14�C, Skardu -13�C, Gupis, Gilgit -09�C, Bagrote, Dir, Kalat -08�C, Rawalakot, Malamjabba -07�C, Parachinar, Murree, Quetta -05�C, Drosh -04�C, Bunji, Risalpur, Dalbandin, Chillas, Kakul -03�C, Islamabad -01�C, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar 00�C, Faisalabad 01�C, Lahore 02�C, Multan 06�C, Hyderabad 07�C and Karachi 10�C.
