13 Km Long New Gas Pipeline In Jalalpur Pirwala Inaugurated

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jan, 2017 ) : Pakistan Muslim League-N MNA Rana Qasim Noon on Wednesday inaugurated 13-Kilometer long sui gas pipeline, starting from Jalalpur Pirwala to Khan Bela.
The new sui gas pipeline will facilitate thousands of families in different villages including Basti Daira, Duraabpur, Jafareen, Karmuwali, and some others. The Federal government has provided funds of Rs 650 million for the gas pipeline project.
Speaking on the occasion, MNA Qasim Noon expressed pleasure over the sui gas supply project and said the government would also construct concrete dyke on river Chenab at a cost of Rs 1.
5 billion as the government had given approval for the scheme.
The work on the dyke would soon be started. He observed that the new embankment would save crops from floods. He also vowed to make Jalalpur Pirwala one of the modern city, equipped with all possible facilities. Chairman Municipal Committee Saleem Sattar, vice chairman Abdul Ghafoor Numani and other local politicians were also present on the occasion.
