Anti encroachment operation at river embankments

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : District government has launched operation against encroachment at river embankments as a precautionary measure to save lives and property from expected flood. A special team led by Assistant Commissioner Malik Atta-ul-Haq started operation at Akbar Flood Bund and Bun Bosan set up at Head Muhammad Walla, said official sources on Tuesday.

The team demolished shops and milk selling points and started repairing work of embankments of the river.
