Joint Resistance Stages Protest Illegal Settlements

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jan, 2017 ) : Leaders of joint resistance movement in Indian occupied Kashmir staged a protest rally at Jamia Masjid Hyderpora in Srinagar against the settlement of Hindu refugees in the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), protesters on the occasion said that inroads were being made by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an affiliate of RSS, to damage the Kashmir movement, said a statement issued by the joint resistance after the protest.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik also participated in the protest rally. "Issuing of domicile certificates to the Hindu refugees is an attempt to change the demographic fabric of the Jammu and Kashmir and such nefarious designs will be fought tooth and nail," the leaders said, according to the statement.
Hailing the steadfastness of the detainees in jails, the leaders said that authorities under a well thought conspiracy, were prolonging their detention and are not being released despite quashing of their detentions by their own courts.
" The leaders, according to the statement, cautioned the people that they should restrain and refrain from being misused by the pro-Indian politicians as their hands are soaked in the blood of our innocent youth." Reacting to the activities of so-calle dMuslim Rashtarya Manch (MRM) leaders said, "The fascist Hindutwa Parcharks are trying to hoodwink the innocent people by using such veiled Names." The other leaders and activists who participated in protest included Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Peer Saifullah, Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi, Meraj-ud-Din Kalwal, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Siraj-ud-Din, Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid, Abdul Hamid Magray, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Abdul Rashid, Mudasir Nadvi, Zahoor-ul-Haq, Ishfaq Ahmad Khan, Omer Aadil Dar and Rameez Raja.
