Rescue Operation Launched As Building Collapses

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jan, 2017 ) : Rescuers launched an operation after a two-storey building collapsed at Bosan Road near Chungi No 6, here on Tuesday. Rescue 1122 spokesman said that a team of rescuers and ambulances has reached the spot and launched the rescue operation.
An eyewitness Tanweer Bukhari said that it was an electronic appliances shop and rescuers were now trying to cut the concrete roof of the building by cutters to ensure access to the injured persons.
The body of a person was partly visible under the rubble and rescuers were trying to have access to him by cutting and removing the debris. DC Nadir Chatha also reached the spot to supervise the rescue operation.
