Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jan, 2017 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital here on Tuesday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week. According to price list, potato sold at Rs 25 per kilogram, Onion Rs 29, Tomato Rs 32, Ginger Rs 96, Garlic (China) Rs 285, Garlic Local 320, Lemon Rs 55, Lady Finger Rs 75/55, Pumpkin Rs 55, Brinjal Rs 40, Peas Rs 45, Fresh Bean Rs 35, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 30, Cucumber Rs 45, Capsicum Rs 65/40, Green Chilli Rs 45, Cauliflower Rs 23/15, Cabbage Rs 32, Bitter Gourd Rs 75/55, Spinach Rs 13, Radish Rs 17, Turnip Rs 23,Yam Rs 75, Maroo Rs 25, Carrot Rs 24, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 121.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 110/90, Apple Golden Rs 90/60, Apple White Rs 90/55, Apple China Rs 166/130, Banana Pak Rs 80/45, Grapes Toffee Rs 155/130, Guava 65/45, Pomegranate Rs 180/130, Musumi Rs 130/100, Shakri Rs 150/115, Kino Rs 80/50, Fruiter Rs 80/50, Pear China Rs 160/130.
The people are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
