DN Peshawar Directs Establishment Of Vocational Centres

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : District Nazim, Peshawar, Mohammad Asim Khan Tuesday visited vocational centre, Pardah Bagh, working under the supervision of City District Government and directed the establishment of such centres across the district. Mohammad Asim Khan along with Director Coordination, Sahibzada Mohammad Tariq, Member District Council/Chairman, Social Welfare, Raza Mohammad Khan visited Pardah Bagh vocational centre. On the occasion, Director, Vocational Centre, Shehnaz briefed the district nazim about employees and skills imparted in the centre.

The district Nazim visited different sections of the centre and collected information. Speaking on the occasion, the district Nazim directed the establishment of vocational centres in union council level across the district, where women will be imparted different skills to provide them employment opportunities. He said due to vocational centre, women can be enabled to earn livelihood for their families while sitting inside their houses, adding hefty budget will be allocated for activation and improvement in vocational centres.
