LB Representatives Asked To Work Selflessly

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jan, 2017 ) :Provincial Minister for Local Government and Community Development Manshaullah Butt Tuesday said local bodies is an effective system for resolving peoples problems at local level.

"Activation of this system will spur process of development across the province",he added. Talking to a delegation at his office,he said elected local bodies representatives would work hard for serving people and utilize all their energies for this purpose.

He said PML-N government has written a new chapter of transparency and hard work,and added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif the journey of selfless service to masses would continue.

The Minister said the Chief Minister has assured of his complete support to local bodies representatives,adding that he (Shehbaz) has promised additional funds for local governments who would show good performance in education,health, public health and other sectors for their encouragement. He said capacity-building of local bodies' institutions was also necessary.
