Annual Kashmir Cultural Festival To Be Held On January 11

MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Jan, 2017 ) : The annual Kashmir cultural festival to be held here on January 11 at University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Chela Campus. The event is being jointly organized by the department of Kashmir Studies and Kashmir Studies Forum of AJK University.

The students of the academia are highly enthusiastic to take part in traditional cultural activities of Kashmir and present the Kashmiri art and culture in a unique way. The colorful programmes of traditional Kashmiri typical Art and culture would be presented on event.

Besides, a seminar on Kashmir is also being held to discuss the current situation in Indian occupied Kashmir,its backdrop and effects of world political scenario in this connection.

Vice Chancellor AJK University Professor Dr. Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Director Kashmir Studies Professor Ambarin Khawaja, President Kashmir Studies Forum Khawaja Aqeel and other officials of the academia would inaugurate the festival. The stalls would also be set up by different faculties and disciplines of the university in connection of the cultural festival on the occasion.
