Orientation Day For New Batch At Dawood University Held

KARACHI, Jan 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Jan, 2017 ) : Orientation day was held here on Monday for the new batch of students at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DCET), said an official of the university.

He said that the students admitted to different disciplines of engineering for the Batch 2017 were provided the vision and academic guidance at the Orientation Ceremony prior to start of regular classes.

Vice Chancellor DCET, Dr. Faizullah Abbasi, in his welcome address said Dawood University is fast transforming University of the country and in the near future `you will realize the wisdom and effectiveness of your decision to join DUET to pursue your next academic degree'.

The VC told the new entrants that `you are starting a new phase of your life and this is the time for you to focus on your career and to develop and improve your moral and professional life without wasting time.

Get education with positive approach for bright future', he added. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Pir Roshan Din Shah Rashdi, Registrar Capt. (R) Waqar Hussain Shah, Departments' Chairpersons, Faculty Member, Staff and Students were present.
