Hurriyet Leaders Pays Tribute To Sajjad Kenue On Anniversary

ISLAMABAD, Jan 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Jan, 2017 ) : Hurriyet leaders paid glowing tributes to Sajjad Ahmad Kenue, in occupied Kashmir, on his 21st anniversary and organised Fateha at his grave at Reshi Bazaar in Islamabad town of south Kashmir.
Accrding to Kashmir Media Service, Sajjad Ahmad Kanue of Mattan Adda area of Islamabad was killed by the Special Task Force personnel and renegade `Ikhwanis' in Srinagar on January 08, 1996. A delegation of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet led by Aashiq Hussain visited the martyrs' graveyard and offered prayers for Kenue.
"Shaheed Kenue was an epitome of resistance struggle who sacrificed for freedom," Aashiq Hussain said on the occasion.
Meanwhile, paying tributes to Sajjad Ahmad Kenue, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, "Mature and conscious nations can never afford to forget martyrdom of their loved ones.
Every family harbours martyrs and any compromise from their path is an insult to their sacred blood." The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement in Srinagar also paid rich tributes to Sajad Ahmad Kenue.
The Chairman of Ummat-e-Islami, Qazi Ahmed Yasir, in his statement in Srinagar, while paying tributes, also offered prayers for the departed soul.
