251 Hearing Impaired Students Get Ear Devices

FAISALABAD, Jan 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Jan, 2017 ) : Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani here on Saturday distributed ear devices among 251 hearing impaired students of government special education institutions of Faisalabad district.
Local Chenab Club provided financial assistance of Rs 2.5 million for the distribution of ear devices among the special children. In this connection, a ceremony was also organized here at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium of Faisalabad Arts Council (FAC).
Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Shahid, Assistant Commissioner General Mahar Shafqatullah Mushtaq, District Officer Special Education Ch.
Abdul Hameed, local philanthropists Shakil Anwar, Shehzad Siddiquue, Zahid Aftaf, Haroon Rafique, Muhammad Ashraf, Hassan Askari and teachers, parents of special students were also present on the occasion.
Special children presented tableaus, national songs and other variety programs while the audiences and spectators appreciated their performance, skill and capabilities. APP/aar/ia/zhr/ihn
