PU CSAS Faculty Condemns Indian Atrocities In IHK

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july, 2016) : Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies on Tuesday held a meeting to condemn recent wave of brutalities on innocent Kashmiris in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
The meeting was chaired by Director CSAS Prof Dr Umbreen Javed in which faculty members of Department of Political Science also participated.
The participants expressed their serious concerns on the alarming situation in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) and condemned in strongest terms the brutalities of Indian forces and the massive killings of innocent civilians in the occupied valley.
The meeting considered the silence of the International community and Human Rights organizations as a blot on the face of whole humanity. The meeting was concluded with a strong resolve to support the freedom struggle of the Kashmir people on political, moral and academic fronts.
