LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july, 2016) : Punjab University Dean Faculty of Life Sciences, Professor of Zoology and former Registrar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan has been selected for the "British Council Future Leaders Training Program" at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK, from August 9-17, 2016.
Dr. Khan has been selected for the leadership training programme, designed for the deans and registrars of public sector universities of Pakistan, by the Higher education Commission (HEC) and the British Council, Pakistan.
Dr. Khan has recently completed his 6-months Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Zagreb, Croatia, under a European Commission EU Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Award (2016). Previously, he won FAO Global Fisheries travel Award for Rome, Italy (2015), Norwegian Fisheries Travel Award for Trondheim, Norway (2014); American Fisheries Society Travel Award for Mazatl n, Mexico (2014) and the World Aquaculture Society Travel Award for Adelaide, Australia (2014).
