SSP Hints To Initiate Steps For Capacity Building Of Investigation Officers

HYDERABAD, Jan, 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : The Senior Superintendent of Police Hyderabad Irfan Baloch has hinted to initiate the effective steps for capacity building of the investigation officers of the Police so that they could prepare un-denial facts before submitting the cases against criminals in the courts of law for justice.

He expressed these remarks while talking to media persons after attending the ceremony of shield distributing among the promoted police officers arranged by Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry here at its secretariat on Wednesday.

The SSP admitted the remarks of the judges about flaws in investigations that causes benefits of doubt to accused persons in the cases particularly in high profile cases and said that he and other senior police officers have agreed to impart training to investigation officers on modern lines for their capacity building likewise the Anti-Terrorist Force of the district which has been trained by Pakistan Army.

He however said that hectic efforts of the police force have drastically reduced the crime rate in Hyderabad and even street crimes have also been addressed effectively which had restored the confidence of the residents upon police.

Responding to a question about inadequate traffic management on roads particularly the main arteries in Hyderabad, the SSP said that efforts are under way to ensure effective plan in this direction so that the people could not face any inconvenience due to traffic jam.

The SSP however said that encroachment on roads are the main causes of creating hurdles in smooth flow of traffic for which, the police is extending full cooperation to lined departments and anti-encroachment squad to remove all encroachments and create sufficient space for traffic flow.

In many areas, he said that roads have so far been cleared from encroachments. Later, the SSP gave shields on behalf of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce to those Sub-Inspectors of the district police who have been recently promoted to the ranks of Inspectors.

He appreciated the efforts of the chamber for organizing ceremony, adding that it would encourage the police officers to exhibit outstanding performance in future.
