TeH Activist Arrested In Kupwara, IOK

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : The acting district president of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet, Kupwara Farooq Ahmad Butt, in Indian occupied Kashmir,was arrested from his residence in Kupwara.
The TeH spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that police personnel in civil dress arrested. Hailing his services Tehreek-e-Hurriyet said, that Farooq Ahmad Butt played a key role during recent Kashmir Intifada.
Earlier, police raided his residence and arrested his brother and ailing father,reported Kashmir Media Service.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Syed Ali Gilani expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Er Sheikh Nazir Ahmad of Baramulla, and said that late Engineer was highly educated, sincere and founding member of the Tehreek.
On his directions, a delegation of Tehreek-e-Hurriyet led by Peer Saifullah and comprised Mohammad Yusuf Mujahid and Ghulam Mustafa Wani visited the bereaved family and expressed their solidarity.
