Int'l Community Urged To Take Notice Of HR Violation In IHK

ISLAMABAD, Jan 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Jan, 2017 ) : Former Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood and MP UK Parliament Shadow Foreign Minister Mirza Khalid Mahmood on Monday urged international community and United Nations to take notice of gross human rights violations in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
Addressing a joint press conference here at Islamabad, they said Indian forces were committing atrocities on large scale against innocent Kashmiries. They strongly condemned the massive human rights violations by Indian security forces in Occupied Kashmir.
Barrister Sultan Mahmood, who was also President PTI Azad Jammu Kashmir, appreciated the services of MP UK Parliament Mirza Khalid Mahmood, adding his efforts for raising the Kashmir issue is commendable.
He said pellet guns were being used against innocent people of Occupied Kashmir, while Kashmiri leadership was arrested.
He said International Community should take notice of serious Human Rights violation in Indian held Kashmir.
He also urged OIC to take notice of the human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces. He said Indian security forces were not only involved in target killing of Kashmiri people but women and children were also the worst victims of their brutalities.
He announced that on January 5 protest rallies would be organized against the atrocities of Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir. MP UK Parliament Mirza Khalid Mahmood speaking on the occasion said that they would continue its struggle for the rights of innocent Kashmiris.
He lauded the efforts of Barrister Sultan Mahmood for raising the issue of Kashmir on various International forums. He said that they would fight the Kashmir issue on every forum of the world on the behalf of innocent Kashmiris.
