SOUTH WAZIRISTAN, JAN 02(Pakistan Point News - APP - 02nd Jan, 2017 ) : People of Burki tribe have appealed the government to take action for arresting the killers of innocent child Rehana Burki- six years old went missing from Zafarababad Colongy, Dera Ismail Khan on February 25, 2016 and her body was found at a deserted place after few days. " Not to talk of other people, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, despite lapse of one year, could not provide justice to a family of Burki and killers of the innocent small child are still at large.
Malik Irfanuddin flanked by other tribesmen of Burki tribe told media persons here, he said the dreadful incident had spread fear among residents of the area. He urged the Inspector General of Police and District Police Officer (DPO), Dera Ismail Khan to arrest the killers and bring them to justice by awarding them exemplary punishment to deter others from committing any such crime in future. He said a delegation would be dispatched to Bani Gala, Islamabad to apprise the PTI-chief Imran Khan about the situation and frayed sentiments of the tribe that had pinned hopes on the KP government for getting justice. He warned if no action was taken against the perpetrators of the heinous crime, the Burki tribe would launch protest movement, forcing the provincial government to apprehend the killers and bring them to book.
