Traditional wrestlers demonstrated their skills at a contest organised by the Sports Department for promotion of traditional wrestling
DERA GHAZI KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jan, 2020 ) :Traditional wrestlers demonstrated their skills at a contest organised by the Sports Department for promotion of traditional wrestling.
The initiative was taken on the orders of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, said an official release issued here on Wednesday.
Wrestlers participated in different categories of 'Desi Kushti'.
Wrestlers, including Rehman, Razaq, Jhara, Farooq, Abdur Raheem, Suleman, Madni, Younis, Ramzan, Jamil, Usman, Abid Multani and Sajid, won their bouts.
PTI DG Khan general secretary Latif Pitafi, divisional sports officer Ataur Rahman, chairman Wrestling Association Mazhar Lashari, president Abdul Karim, DG PHA Malik Abid, PTI leader Mehboob Saqib distributed prizes among the winners.
