MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2020) US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he would love to attend his impeachment trial and sit in the front row, as well as see several of his former aides testify.
Earlier in the day, the US Senate approved the rules for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump in a 53-47 vote.
"I would love to go, wouldn't that be great, wouldn't that be beautiful? I'd sit right at the front row," Trump said at a press conference in Switzerland's Davos at the World Economic Forum.
He added that he would like former US National Security Advisor John Bolton, State Secretary Mike Pompeo and former Energy Secretary Rick Perry to testify in the trial, but that would be a violation of national security.
