DOHA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2020) The Kuwaiti parliament approved on Wednesday a deal with Saudi Arabia on production from jointly-run oilfields in the neutral zone on their common border, media said.
The Kuwaiti legislature has passed a bill endorsing a memorandum that the two nations signed last month to divide the neutral and offshore areas and resume oil production, the KUNA news agency said.
The dispute between the two oil-rich Gulf monarchies put their joint oil production on hold for three years, taking up to 500,000 barrels a day out of the global market.
