Russia's New Prime Minister Mishustin Asks Cabinet to Amend Budget Law for 2020-2022

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has instructed the new cabinet to prepare amendments to the budget law for 2020-2022 and the Pension Fund, the cabinet's website said on Wednesday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2020) Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has instructed the new cabinet to prepare amendments to the budget law for 2020-2022 and the Pension Fund, the cabinet's website said on Wednesday.

The new Russian cabinet was appointed on Tuesday. During President Vladimir Putin's meeting with the cabinet, Mishustin pledged that the ministers would do their best to fulfill the ambitious goals they were facing.

"In order to implement Russian President Vladimir Putin's message to the Federal Assembly on January 15, 2020, to ensure the introduction of the draft law on amendments to the federal law "On the federal budget for 2020, to Russia's Ministry of Finance ... for the planning period 2021 and 2022," the website said.

Additionally, the Russia's Labor Ministry should prepare amendments to the Pension Fund budget for 2020-2022 by February 11, the cabinet said.
