28 Farmers Arrested Over Water Theft

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july,2016) :Police have arrested 28 farmers over water theft from government canals on Tuesday. Local irrigation authorities said that during a crackdown against water theft, the Task Force of Irrigation department conducted raids at different areas of the district including Chak 7 SB, Ghullah pur, Chak 69 SB, Luqmanwali, Bhabhra, Chak 84 NB, Chavewali, Terkhanawala and others areas and arrested the farmers red handed.
They were included Zahoor Ahmad, Manzoor, Farooq, Faiz Ahmad, Ali Ahmad, Ghaffar, Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Ameer, Shahbaz, Muhammad Nawaz, Sikandar, Liaquat, islam Ullah and others. On the report of irrigation department, police have registered separate cases.
