Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 34, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 65, Ginger Rs 85, Garlic (China) Rs 274, Lemon Rs 90, Lady Finger Rs 62, Green Zucchini Rs 45, Pumpkin Rs 44, Brinjal Rs 66, Peas Rs 172, Farsh Bean Rs 75, Tanda Desi Rs 82, Cucumber Rs 55, Capsicum Rs 60, Green Chilli Rs 65, Cauliflower Rs 95/75, Cabbage Rs 64, Bitter gourd Rs 45, Spinach Rs 27/18, Turnip Rs 54, Yam Rs 46, maroo Rs 74, carrot Rs 60, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 98.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 144/120, Apple White Rs 115/80, Apple China Rs 195/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 260/230, Banana Pak Rs 92/65, Pear China Rs 160/140, Grapes Irani 145/120, Gava 80/50, Apricot Swat Rs 125/100, Peach Rs 85/65, Garma Rs 50/35, Mango Sundari Rs 85/58, Mango Langra Rs 62/45, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 75/50, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 62/40, Mango Ratool Rs 70/50, Mango Desi Rs 58/40 and Apricot Kabli Rs 172/130. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
