GARHI KHUDA BAKSH, (Pakistan Point News – 27th Dec, 2016) : Former President Asif Ali Zardar has announced to fight in elections and to be a part of current parliament. While addressing the supporters of PPP in Garhi Khuda Baksh he said he will be participating in the elections. He said he will be running from her sister’s seat, while Bilawal will run from Larkana. Zardari said his party is on board with Ehtesab Commissioner selected by the Supreme Court.
“We are not afraid of courts,” he said, adding, “The case in which Babar Awan’s license was cancelled should also be reopened.” “This is our right. We will protest, exercise our democratic right and go to the parliament, courts and the bar councils, and talk about what is happening and should be happening,” Zardari said. “We have sacrificed for the sake of democracy and politics, to save Pakistan… We will not leave this Mughal emperor (Nawaz Sharif) to rule,” he added.
“Mian Sahab we gave you this democracy as a sacred trust. We made every decision with you. We made decisions in the Parliament through consensus. It is pity that you have forgotten all your promises.”In reference to Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari said Bilawal’s demands from you are democratic; he has not threatened you to take to streets or to attack democracy in the state, he noted. “I am not coming to the Parliament to topple you; we only intend to teach you certain things, to consult with you on national issues,” said Zardari.
