PES Provided Services To 703 Victims Of Accidents

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : Punjab Emergency Service (PES) has provided services to victims of 703 road accidents in Punjab during last 24 hours. According to Rescue 1122, 12 people were killed while 591 sustained serious injuries in the accidents.
However, 329 drivers, 645 juvenile drivers, 137 pedestrians and 357 passengers were among the victims of these crashes.
The statistics showed that 153 accidents were reported in city which affected 178 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 63 accidents in Faisalabad with 72 victims and Multan remained at third with 43 accidents and 48 victims. As many as, 557 motorcycles, 84 rickshaws, 71 cars, 39 vans, 13 buses, 26 trucks and 83 other vehicles and slow moving carts were involved in the accidents.
