Strict Measures Afoot To Get Govt Quarters Vacated From Unauthorized

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Monday said the Federal government was planning strict action to the get the official quarters vacated from unauthorized people. Responding to a motion moved by Senator Col (R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi in the Senate, the minister said the federal government was striving to provide adequate accommodation to its employees. He said the authorities concerned were working to prevent misuse of the government quarters.
The Minister for Housing, he said, had issued directives to the attached departments, especially the Estate Office, to take strict action against the employees, who who sublet their government accommodation or unauthorized people who had been occupying the official quarters. The motion says the House may discuss the situation arising out of non-vacation of government quarters by the Estate Office Islamabad from unauthorized occupants.
