Board Reviews PGs Admission Policy

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : A meeting of Joint Admission Board constituted for the online induction of doctors for Post Graduation under Punjab Residency Programme, held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Kind Edward Medical University Prof.
Faisal Masood at Civil Secretariat. Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical education Najam Ahmad Shah, Special Secretary Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chauhan, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof.
Sardar Fakhar Imam, Pro Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences and Principals and medical superintendents of all the Medical Colleges, teaching hospitals and Chief Executive/Dean of Specialized Healthcare Institutions attended the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that scrutiny of online applications received for the induction in PGRs programme would be carried out by the committee headed by the Principal of the concerned medical college/teaching hospital to remove any probability of error occurred during filling the online application forms by the candidates.
The merit and transparency would be upheld at every stage. The candidates would also be called along with original documents at the time of scrutiny to verify their certificates. The application forms would automatically transfer to the concerned teaching hospital's website/portal according to the options given by the candidates while filling the online forms.
The Joint Admission board directed the scrutiny committees of the hospitals to complete scrutiny process of the applications within three days after that lists of eligible candidates would be displayed in the concerned teaching hospital/specialized healthcare institution.
