ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : Minister of State for Information and Technology Anusha Rehman has been nominated by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as Commissioner of the Broadband Commission. The Broadband Commission is an international body which is meant for the proliferation of broadband in the world.

Nomination of Anusha Rehman as Broadband Commissioner is a matter of great honor for the country, said a press statement issued here on Monday. Anusha Rehman's nomination on the international forum is a recognition of her invaluable services by global community, which she successfully rendered in arena of broadband.
