Chief SBI Calls On British Dy High Commissioner

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july,2016) : Chairperson Sindh board of Investment (SBI), Naheed Memon called on British Deputy High Commissioner, Belinda Lewis at her office here on Monday. Naheed congratulated Belinda on assuming charge as the British Deputy High Commissioner, said a statement. They also discussed matter pertaining to trade and business relations between the United Kingdom and Karachi-Sindh. Speaking on the occasion, Naheed said Pakistan and the UK relations are stronger and we intend to further strengthen these ties in different sectors between the two friendly countries. She informed the British Envoy regarding opportunities for the British educational institutes in the Education city in Karachi extended on nine thousands acres.
It will help the students of Pakistan to take benefits from expertise of British educationists and to get education at home from the internationally renowned British educational institutes, she added. She said that the Sindh government also intends to get cooperation from the UK in infrastructure development, mining, energy and other sectors. The statement said that both also agreed to further promote the cooperation between Pakistan and UK in education, technology, agriculture and other sectors and called for the need to exchange information in this regard.
