Three-day Workshop On Financial Management Concludes

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july,2016) : The three-day workshop on financial management of USAID funded G2G awards with Audit perspective held under the auspicious of USAID Assessment and Strengthening Program, concluded here on Monday. There were presentation on various aspects of audit on the last day of the workshop. Main topics of presentation were "Audit guidelines developed for foreign funded projects, tool-kit on assignment accounts, strategic plan of department of Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) with perspective of foreign funded projects and USAID support.
Deputy Auditor General Provincial Audit Wing, Zia ur Rehman gave a comprehensive overview of the strategic plan 2015-19 of AGP and responded to the queries of the participants during question answer session.
All participants while giving there feedback during questions answers session appreciated the efforts of USAID and proposed that this kind of workshops will not only enrich the professional skills of officers but also help out to Audit of USAID's funded project in Pakistan efficiently and professionally and according to the requirement.
The role of relevant institutions from both countries will also be enhanced to improve financial management as well as audit of USAID funded projects by sharing mutual experiences. The certificates were distributed amongst all participants at the end of the workshop.
