Shehbaz Lays Foundation Stone Of Sheikh Jasim Hospital

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Dec, 2016 ) : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Saturday liad foundation stone of 50-bed Sheikh Jasim Hospital to be constructed by Jasim and Hammad Bin Jasim Charitable Foundation Doha, Qatar at Haiderabad Thal, tehsil Mankera, Bhakkar.
Addressing a ceremony held in this regard, he said service to people was worship, politics, the most important and precious thing of the world, according to a handout issued here. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the government was successfully forwarding the journey of public service, while the opponents of people's progress and prosperity made every effort to create hurdles in this journey but failed due to prayers of 20 crore people and blessings of Allah Almighty.
He said that head of PTI had spared no effort in ruining Pakistan through sit-ins in 2014 and on November 2, he wanted to lockdown Islamabad and process of development of Pakistan but failed in it.
Shehbaz Sharif hoped that darkness would be removed from the country at the end of 2017, as electricity would be available substantially for agriculture, industries, education, health and other sectors.
The latest quality medical facilities would also be available to the people with the construction of modern hospital by Jasim and Hammad Bin Jasim Charitable Foundation Qatar in Bhakkar, he added.
The chief minister ordered immediate provision of funds for construction of Danish School in Mankera and said that work of construction of school should be completed at the earliest. He said that Qatar was a brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan and thanked Jasim Charitable Foundation on construction of 50-bed hospital at a cost of Rs 860 million and people of Bhakkar and Jhang would benefit from this facility.
He said the hospital would be equipped with modern facilities and best doctors would provide best medical facilities to the masses here. He mentioned that brotherly country Turkey had constructed a 100-bed modern Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzafargarh which was a precious gift for people of Pakistan.
There was no hospital at par with this hospital throughout Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, he added. He said, the hospital to be constructed in Bhakkar by Jasim Charitable Foundation Qatar would be of same standard.
He mentioned that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had visited Qatar and offered all out cooperation to its government for Football World Cup to be held there in 2025. He hoped that soon a good news would be received and thousands of Pakistanis would go to Qatar for employment.
He said that Qatar was working on a 1320-megawatt Coal Power Plant project along with China at Port Qasim Karachi and the project would be completed next year, asserting that besides China, this was the biggest investment by Qatar in Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, implementation had been started on the biggest Kisan Package in Pakistan's history. Process of provision of interest-free loans of Rs 100 billion to the owners of 12.5 acre land had also been started.
Subsidy was being given to the farmers on fertilizers besides electricity tariff on agri tube-wells had been reduced, he added. The chief minister said that work was continuing speedily on projects under investment package of 51 billion Dollar by friendly country China.
He said that Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran and China were our best friends and with the cooperation of its friends, Pakistan would stand on its own feet and achieve a respectable place in the comity of nations.
Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the people of the area on start of construction of modern hospital by Jasim Foundation and said that elected representatives and administration should cooperate with the Foundation for constriction of hospital as it was a mega project of public service.
He said that surplus electricity would be available in the country before next elections and we would succeed in the court of the people. If the people would elect them again for their service then they would be told formula of using surplus electricity, he added.
