'FCCI To Make Efforts To Set Up 10-15 Clusters Under CVT Programme'

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Dec, 2016 ) : Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) acting president Rana Sikandar Azam on Thursday said the FCCI would make efforts to initially set up at least ten to fifteen clusters under Cooperative Vocational Training (CVT) programme in order to overcome the shortage of skilled workforce with the help of GIZ.
Addressing an awareness session on CVT here on Thursday, he said that the trained manpower was necessary to improve the quality of products in addition to giving a quantum jump to production. He expressed satisfaction over the model of CVT and appreciated the efforts of GIZ for the training of skilled industrial workers.
He said that Faisalabad had also emerged as a major business center of the country and it also needed skilled persons for marketing and salesmanship.
