7 Special Christmas Bazaars To Be Set Up: DCO

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2016 ) : District Coordination Officer (DCO) Salman Ghani Wednesday said seven special Christmas Bazaars would be set up in Faisalabad district to provide essential commodities to Christian community on subsidized rates for celebrations of Christmas.
Talking to media, he said special Christmas bazaars would be set up in Pinto Ground Warispura, Christian Town Eid Gah road in Faisalabad, Shamspura opposite Church Tandlianwala, Soling Bazaar Jaranwala, site adjacent to Church at Khurarianwala, Liaqat Park Sammundri and near Catholic Church Chak Jhumra.
He said special Christmas bazaars would remain operation from 9.
00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on 22nd to 24th of December 2016. The DCO informed that flour, sugar, ghee, pulses, meat, poultry items, vegetables, fruits and other essential commodities would be available in Christmas bazaars on subsidized rates.
He said tight security arrangements, vehicle parking, traffic management, cleanliness and necessary facilities would be provided in these bazaars. Special instructions had been issued to the Market Committee, Agriculture, Livestock, Industries and other departments to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities in abundance quantity, he added.
