UK Based Overseas Pakistani Woman Gets Possession Of Land

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2016 ) : Possession of 205 Kanal land has been handed over to the U.K based Overseas Pakistani woman due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab, Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti informed that Abida Shujat Rana filed a complaint to OPC that Mumtaz Ahmad Khan allegedly had illegally occupied her 205 Kanal 13 Marla land situated in Qila Sardar Bhagail Singh, District Kasur, for the last three years and had also prepared fake documents in this regard.

He said that this complaint was referred to the District Overseas Committee Kasur, which by making reconciliation between the two parties, handed over the land to the original owner and by intervention of OPC both parties had also withdrawn their cases against each other in courts.

Afzaal Bhatti further told that so far 50 percent of the received complaints of expats had been resolved and District Overseas Committee were also playing pivotal role in resolving the issues faced by the Overseas Pakistanis. APP/mnb/bl/rn
