Railway Engineering To Be Taught As A Subject: PR Minister

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2016 ) : Pakistan Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that subject of railway engineering will be included in the syllabus of technical colleges and engineering universities.
According to the PR sources on Wednesday, the minister has formed a four-member committee headed by PR chief executive officer Javaid Anwar to take all universities on board in this regard.
He directed to maintain contacts with the institutions for issuance of diploma and degrees in the railway engineering and the PR experts would design courses by themselves.
The minister asked the committee to keep in view modern research and development in the field while designing courses.
