PIA Jeddah-Multan Flight Delayed As Aircraft's Generator Shut Down

KARACHI, (Pakistan Point News – 14th Dec, 2016) : A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Jeddah to Multan was delayed as the aircraft caught fire right before take-off. According to PIA spokesperson the flight was delayed as the aircraft’s generator shut down. Refuting media reports regarding an incidence of fire at the aircraft, PIA spokesperson said the aircraft’s generator shut down due to a problem and was parked at bay at Jeddah airport. All the passengers are safe and the aircraft will be flown only after the proper inspection. Sources informed that later the same aircraft flew the passengers to Multan safely.
