Commissioner Visits Minerals-rich Tribal Areas Of DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Dec 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Dec, 2016 ) : Commissioner Muhammad Yasrab visited different minerals-rich parts of tribal areas on Friday to review security situation and identify potential of investment on exploring minerals and costly stones.

Accompanying Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rehmatullah Niazi and Political Assistant Tribal Areas Babar Bashir, the commissioner visited tribal areas up to Mamdani to assess the situation there keeping in view the expected visit of Chinese companies officials to these areas, says an official release issued here.

The tribal areas, including Zinda Peer, Mamdani, hold minerals and costly stones.

These stones have been declared best for utilization in construction of motorway, the release said adding that some Chinese companies have expressed interest in investment to explore minerals and costly stones in DG Khan tribal areas.

Babar Bashir gave a detailed briefing to the commissioner on security situation of the areas and natural resources available there. He said importance of this area had increased due to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and investment would bring qualitative change in the life of people of this area.
