Security Arrangements Finalized For Eid Milad Un Nabi (SAW)

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Dec, 2016 ) : Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Mirpurkhas range, Javaid Aalam Odho, has said that security arrangements in connection with Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) have been finalized As many as 2363 police personnel were deputed to ensure fool proof security.
Presiding over a meeting with concerned officials and religious scholars held here on Thursday to review and finalize security arrangements, he informed that 1262 police personnel were deputed on security duties in Mirpurkhas district, 500 in Umerkot and 601 in Tharparkar districts.
The DIGP said that code of conduct regarding Eid Milad un Nabi issued by Sindh Home department would be implemented in letter in spirit. He asked Ulema to depute their volunteers along with police personnel to further reinforce security arrangements and to ensure physical search of every person entering into the processions or congregations.
Mufti Sharif Saeedi, Moulana Iltmas Sabir, Mufti Amjad Ali, Moulana Asad Raza, Moulana Muhammad Rashid Attari and other scholars who attended the meeting assured their cooperation for maintaining peace on the day.
