Kashmir Solution Will Bring Peace, Prosperity In Region

ISLAMABAD, Dec 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Dec, 2016 ) : The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Ghulam Muhammad Butt Thursday said the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people will bring permanent peace and prosperity in the region.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), Mohammad Butt addressing a party meeting in Srinagar reiterated the stance of Jamaat that the lingering Kashmir dispute should be resolved through tripartite dialogue among Pakistan, India and the genuine Kashmiri leadership in line with the relevant the UN resolutions.
The JI Ameer said the people of Kashmir were basic party to the dispute and they must be included in any dialogue process aimed at its settlement. He also urged the international community to play its role in resolving the lingering dispute according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people so that durable peace could be established in the region.
