IHC Extends Bail Of Executive MOP Till July 25

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th july, 2016) : The Islamabad High Court on Friday extended pre-arrest bail of accused, ALi Raza, Chief Executive Move On Pakistan (MOP) and Asif Iqbal in the controversial banners case, till July 25. A single judge bench of Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kyani assumed hearing of case seeking extension in pre-arrest bail in the said case. Taimur Aslam counsel for the petitioner pleaded that his client did not commit any crime which would be cognizable, added that case had been registered against his clients on the bases of political victimization nothing els.
He cleared that the recent campaign of MOP had been given a false interpretation as neither MOP nor the petitioners representing the will of the party support martial law to be imposed in the country and requested for extension in the pre arrest bail application. Abdul Khaliq, state counsel said that however the accused were on pre-arrest bail but yet they did not recorded their statement in this regard and requested to reject the bail application. After hearing the arguments the bench extended bail till 25 July and directed applicants to join investigations.
