Senate offers 'Fateha' for veteran politician Miraj Mohammad Khan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th july, 2016) : The Senate on Friday offered Fateha for the departed soul of veteran politician Miraj Mohammad Khan, who died in Karachi and was laid to rest there. Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri led the prayers.

Expressing deep sorrow over his death, Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani paid rich tribute to late Miraj Mohammad Khan. He said late Miraj Mohammad Khan was a straightforward personality and politician who upheld the cause of democracy through his relentless struggle against dictatorships.

He lived a simple life and never took any financial advantages from any government, the Chairman Senate added.
