Cold, dry weather to persist across country: PMD

ISLAMABAD, Dec 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Dec, 2016 ) : Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday forecast mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

"The weather would remain cold and dry in most parts of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 24 hours", PMD said.

Foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. The minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Skardu -06 C, Hunza and Gupis -04 C and Gilgit -01 C.
