Abkhazia's Supreme Court refused to uphold the lawsuit of opposition candidate Alkhas Kvitsiniya seeking to cancel the results of the second round of presidential elections he lost, a Sputnik correspondent reported Friday
SUKHUM (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) Abkhazia's Supreme Court refused to uphold the lawsuit of opposition candidate Alkhas Kvitsiniya seeking to cancel the results of the second round of presidential elections he lost, a Sputnik correspondent reported Friday."The court... decided.. not to uphold the lawsuit requesting to invalidate the decision of the Central Election Commission... on the results of the presidential elections in the Republic of Abkhazia," judge Genri Gamisonia said.
Kvitsiniya's defense said it would appeal the ruling.
