ITP Taking Action Against Vehicles Using Pressure Horns

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2019 ) :Special squads of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has removed 1,408 pressure horns from vehicles during the ongoing year so far ,besides imposing heavy fines on them.

According to the police spokesman, these squads constituted on the special instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Farrukh Rashid to make the capital noise-free.

He said the ITP has accelerated action against those using pressure horns and strict action is being taken against them.

Special squads of ITP have been further directed to conduct regular checking and fine vehicles involved in creating noise pollution or other environmental pollution in the city.

He said the citizens may lodge their complaint at 1915 or 051-9261192-93 in case of observing any vehicle using pressure horns and irritating them.
