KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) The Ukrainian energy minister said on Friday that his country would consider the possibility of importing a "certain volume" of natural gas from Russia.
"We would be interested in buying a certain volume on concrete conditions... But this is up to consultations," Oleksiy Orzhel said in a televised briefing.
Ukraine will import Russian gas if there is no political factor and pressure from Moscow, he added.
Orzhel also said that Ukraine might consider dealing not only with Russian state-run energy giant Gazprom but other Russian gas companies as well.
