Supreme Court (SC) has sought implementation report till Monday on case related to appointment of female law professor in Punjab university

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 20th September, 2019) Supreme Court (SC) has sought implementation report till Monday on case related to appointment of female law professor in Punjab university.A two members bench of SC presided over by Justice Umar Ata Bandial took up the case for hearing Friday.The counsel for professor took the plea during the hearing of the case the petitioner is first female law professor in Punjab University during its 150 years history.

The university gave false statement in high court regarding minutes of the meeting.Justice Omar Ata Bandial remarked was the vacancy advertised. It is matter of regret that politics is being played in educational institutions. We are meting out improper treatment to our professors. Professor Abdul Kalam was appointed president in India. The post of law teacher is lying vacant due to politics in university.The court while summoning implementation report on the matter till Monday adjourned the hearing of the case till Tuesday.
