According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, only 13% Pakistanis cite paying taxes as the most important quality of a good citizen

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2019 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, only 13% Pakistanis cite paying taxes as the most important quality of a good citizen. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Which is the most important quality of a good citizen?” In response, 44% said that a good citizen is one who helps others whereas 36% felt a good citizen is one who abides by the law. 13% Pakistanis thought that a good citizen is one who pays tax, 4% thought it is one who votes, 1% said a good citizen has other qualities and remaining 2% did not know/did not wish to respond.
