25,000 Persons Seeking Employment Abroad Being Trained

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd july,2016) : National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is providing training to 25,000 persons, aimed at making them skillful and meet demand of trainees both nationally and internationally.
They are being imparted training in different disciplines under third phase of Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Programme while 25,000 youth will also get training in next financial year in highly demand driven trades across the country. The government has increased number of trainees in existing TVET institutions in different field and trades, official sources said here on Friday.
The sources said training for overseas pre-employment is being managed by Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development.
However, two organizations of Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Trainings are also imparting training to persons seeking employment abroad as well as in local market. These are National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and National Training Bureau (NTB). The sources said almost all fields/vocations are being covered for imparting training.
They said as far as name of vocation highly in demand abroad is concerned, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis received demands for employment abroad but generally vocations in construction sector are highly demanded at international level.
