Commissioner For Strict Action Against Land Grabbers, Profiteers

KARACHI, Dec 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Dec, 2016 ) : Commissioner Karachi Aijaz Ahmed Khan has ordered for strict action against land grabbers and profiteers. In separate meetings with Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars of all districts, he directed them to take effective measures to provide relief to the masses, said a statement issued here on Friday.
He said stern action must be taken against violators of official price lists, profiteers and hoarders, while the actions against the land grabbers must be expedited. The meetings were attended by Additional Commissioner Karachi-I, Muhammad Aslam Khoso, Director of Planning and Development, Syed Muhammad Shakeeb, Director Media for Commissioner Karachi, Shabih Siddiqui, Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars of districts, South, West and Malir.
The Commissioner took detailed briefing from each officer of district regarding their performance. Aijaz Ahmed Khan asked the officers about the revenue collection, computerization of revenue record, price control, anti encroachment measures, pace of development schemes, and others.
The commissioner directed the officers to forward reports regarding the measures taken in their respective jurisdictions on daily basis.
